This page of my portfolio features thoughts on colour schemes and the shapes and proportions Marc jacobs used in his Spring 09 collection upon which my project is based.
I have always been interested in art and design from a young age, especially the construction of garments and designers within the fashion industry.
To be accepted to complete a course in fashion design at Manchester School of Art would enable me to progess as a designer and build upon my knowledge in a successful way. After Studying both Art and Textiles at A level, attending the Cheshire Artists in Italy course and beginning a life drawing course, I feel I am ready to further my education at university for a subject that I am incredibly passionate about.
